Everyone remembers the day that Perrie found her girlfriend dead. Jade had enough of everyone touching Perrie and telling Jade to fuck off. Everyone was shocked and started going on about rumours, which made Perrie so upset and angry.
Perrie had walked around for ages trying to find the smaller Geordie that she loved calling hers. As she heard a few muffled sobs come from the toilets that she just walked past, she traced her steps back before walking into the toilets to find her girlfriend standing on a chair, her wrists bleeding harshly.
“Jeed,” She warned the brunette before stepping a bit closer to her. “Call me a coward, love, but suicide is my option.” Jade whispered, putting the noose around her neck before kicking the chair from underneath her. Perrie automatically ran to the smaller girl’s side, but she was too late to stop her, she was dead.
The blonde took the chair and grabbed her girlfriend by the waist, getting her free from the so called ‘necklace’ as Jade called it. “I don’t know what to do,” Perrie cried, holding onto her as tight as she could. “I oh my. Jade, Jade!” Perrie screamed, scared of this. She couldn’t believe that Jade had done this.
“Perrie, eat for god’s sake!” My mam yelled. I can’t eat, I can’t do anything. Everything reminds me of Jade. “Your father and I are leaving for a while, go to school and you can stay by yourself, I’ll get Katherine to stay over.” She muttered, leaving with my father.
I had stood in the shower for a good hour before Katherine had started banging on the bathroom door. “Perrie, you still alive? I’m not joking, I’m really worried.” She yelled, banging on the door again. I turned off the taps and dried before putting on some clothes and unlocking the door.
“I was told that you haven’t talked since she let go. But can you hold on? I don’t want you gone.” She whispered, leading us to her car outside. I fiddled with the little hand-written note in my pocket. I’ve almost memorised it of by heart. “Pezza, I’ll get you to meet one of my friends, she’ll love you.” Kat giggled, getting out of the car as I pulled down my sleeves.
Kat started talking to a few of the other students. I was too lost in my mind to realise what happened. “Perrie,” Jesy smiled, giving me a bone-crushing hug. “This is Taylor,” Katherine smiled, pointing to the blonde whom stood next to her. I smiled at her as a greeting. Taylor had a few books in her hands and quite a few pens in her pocket.
“Free dress tomorrow, what ya gonna wear?” Kat teased. I shrugged in response. She should know that I won’t talk. The bell had rung and every one was going to their home class. “You’re with Taylor, she’s in pretty much all your classes.” Jesy smiled, walking off with Kat.
“Where do you sit?” Taylor asked as I pointed to the pair of seats right at the back left corner. “Do you want me to sit in the row next to you? Jade’s seat is taken. I’ll leave that seat for her.” Taylor smiled, walking towards our seats. “Miss Edwards, you’re back!” Our teacher, Miss Tale smiled, running to Taylor and I. “Miss, she won’t speak, so don’t interrogate her on the past.” Taylor warned her. I smiled politely at Taylor as a thank you.
I looked to the seat on my left, there was a white feather on it with a note. I picked up the two items. ‘Stay away from Taylor –J x’ It read. I shook my head. I must be imagining things. Jade can’t be around, definitely not. I looked to Taylor. She smiled at me. I looked at her confused. What’s got her so happy?
“She’s got a plan, don’t trust her,” A small voice in my head spoke. It sounded just like Jade’s, but a bit more of a warning tone. I shook my head at the voice. I just miss Jade that much. “Miss Edwards, the school councillor wants you for a couple of periods.” Miss Tale smiled. “Taylor, you’re not going with her.” She warned. Does she think that Taylor is bad too?
I got to the school councillor’s office and saw Jesy talking to the councillor. “Pezza, come in.” Jesy giggled, taking my hand. I sat on Jesy’s lap as we sat in her office. “So, do you like the new student, Taylor, yet?” She asked. Jesy and I both nodded fast. “We’re keeping an eye on her so please; don’t hang with her all the time.” She warned. “Why?” Jesy mumbled, tilting her head a bit. “We don’t know- we can’t say. Now let’s give this a bit of time.”
We had stayed in with the councillor for the first two periods, lunch and all the way till second break. Jesy talked for me. I finally smiled for real because I found out that Jessica is dating Taylor. But I still haven’t quite figured Taylor out. There’s something about her that makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end. I need to know.
A/N Hey guys, new fanfic because I’m almost to the end of ‘Saving Jade’. Do you guys think that I should continue on with this? Cos if it’s not good enough, I could try to do another fanfic. But I promise, it will get better and make more sense later on. I actually have this fanfic planned out.
